5/4 Folsom Lake Falcon Crest Trail Run: El Dorado Hills. 5K, 10K, 8 mi., 13.1 mi. Fast trails with some technical sections. This area has incredible oak trees, green grass & loaded with singletrack trails paralleling Folsom Lake.

5/4 Armstrong Redwoods Trail Run: Guerneville. 10K, 26K, 36K, 50K. The 3 longer courses continue into Austin Creek & have technical challenges, including creek crossings.

5/4 Coloma River Run: Magnolia Ranch Trailhead, near Hart to Hart Winery. 5K, 10K, 10 mi. courses. A fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Fdn.

5/4 Paseo de Mariposa: Mariposa Courthouse. 5K family fun run, 12 K trail run thru the Stockton Creek Preserve. Children under 18 race for free!

5/4 Kids Obstacle Challenge: Joseph D. Grant County Park, San Jose. This venue offers pristine views and a remote feel that's perfect for a muddy weekend adventure.

5/11 Trail Run at Sly Park: Sly Park Recreation Area, Pollock Pines.5K, 10K, 8.5 mi., 18 mi., half marathon, 50K.

5/12 Mother’s Day Run for Shelter: Watsonville. 5K, 10K run/walk. Outrun family homelessness! A fundraiser for Pajaro Valley Shelter Services that works to end the causes and cycles of family homelessness – one family at a time.

5/19 Run Surfer’s Path: Santa Cruz. 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon. Experience scenic courses, featuring breathtaking views of the Monterey Bay coastline and a series of world-renowned surf breaks.

5/26 Strawberry Stampede: Arroyo Grande. 5K run/walk, 10K run. Reg. includes chip timing, refreshments & 1st, 2nds & 3rd place awards in 5-year age groups.

5/26 Mushroom Mardi Gras: Morgan Hill. 5K, 10K run/walk. Start and end in the Morgan Hill Amphitheater then through the row of festival vendors, continue on a out and back course. Fb: @mmgfunrun


6/2 Nevada City Mile: Nevada City. Lace up your runners and run through downtown Nevada City during this 3rd annual event.

6/1 Berry Creek Falls: Big Basin Redwood State Park, Boulder Creek. 10K, 15K, 25K & kids’ runs. Run among grand old redwoods, going through redwood canyons and climb dry ridges experiencing a wide range of habitats and treat yourself to the 65-ft high Berry Creek Falls.

6/1 Poverello House Run for Meals: Woodward Park, Fresno. 5K run, 2 mi. walk. All proceeds will benefit Poverello House to continue to provide vital services for the poor, hungry and homeless.

6/2 Run in the Name of Love: Carmel-by-the-Sea. 5K run, 2K walk. A unique event offering runners and walkers the opportunity to honor and pay tribute to the very special people in their lives. Bring your 4-legged family member & do the 2K. Limited to 1,000.

6/8 Devil’s Slide Run: San Pedro Valley County Park, Pacifica. 30K, Half Marathon, 11K, and 4K trail runs. Something for everyone, from novice hiker to hard-core trail junkie, and feature the best trails and most spectacular scenery on the San Mateo Coastside. Distances range between 2.5 to 18.7 mi., and include ultra-challenging 30k route with a punishing 4,250 ft. climb. 6/9 Squaw Valley Half: Village at Squaw Valley. 8 mi. & half marathon distances. Fast and flat, a scenic out and back featuring mainly paved trail through the valley and along the Truckee River.

6/16 Father’s Day Rainbow Falls 5K: Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Start/finish near KennedyDr. & Transverse.

Southern California & Nevada


5/4 Bakersfield Olé 5-Que: Amphitheater at Cal State Bakersfield. 2K, 5K, or a No Más distance! Earn your tacos! Run this fun course at CSUB and be greeted by a post-run fiesta. Mariachi bands will provide entertainment before, during and after the run. Medals to the finishers!

5/4 Cinco de Mayo Trail Run: Poway. Celebrate Cinco de May a day early with a 5K, or 10K run. These completely off-road courses take runners on the Lake Poway Trail thru the foothills, around the lake near Blue Sky Ecological Reserve.

5/5 Race with a View: Shoreline Aquatic Park, Long Beach. 5K, 10K run/walk along the Long Beach waterfront. Relatively flat course, an easy run for beginners yet appropriate for serious runners.

5/5 Verdugo Mtns 10K: Brand Park, Glendale. Trail run & hike. Breathtaking views of the L.A. Basin, the San Fernando Valley, and the Pacific Ocean await you at every turn. From the highest point, at 2,670 ft. above sea level, the panoramic view of the San Gabriel Mountains is truly spectacular.

5/19 Finish the Run: Griffith Park, Los Angeles. 5K, 10K, half marathon. Medals to all, great live music & dancing after the rides! Family festival, too. Proceeds of this event go toward making the streets safe for everyone.

5/26 Waves for the Brave: Lake Poway. Celebrate healing for veterans who struggle with post-traumatic stress. Pre-reg. $45, adults; $35, military, veterans, youth. Pre-reg. ends 5/23.


6/1 Wrigley River Run: Long Beach. 5K, 10K, 10 mi., half marathon & kids runs. USATF-certified run courses.

6/1 Fontana Days Run: Half marathon, 5K, 1 mi. Half: 6 mi. include fast, steep, downhill running thru San Bernardino Nat'l Forest and Lytle Creek Community. Last 7 mi. moderate downhill. There is an elevation drop of 2,125 feet from start to finish.

6/8 Anti-Cancer Challenge 5K: Aldrich Park, UC Irvine. 5K or 10K run/walk. Run/Walk. Participants agree to pay or raise $50 for cancer research.

6/9 The Brentwood Run: West Los Angeles. 5K, 10K. Running along the famous Coral Trees on San Vicente Blvd. There's a 5K, 10K and Kids run, plus a Dog Parade and giant community expo.

6/15 23rd Annual Holcomb Valley Trail Run: Big Bear Lake. 15 mi., 33 mi. courses. These courses are along the portion of the Pacific Crest Trail that runs through Big Bear.



5/4 2019 Global 6K for Water: Klamath Falls. 6:30 p.m. Run, walk, push a stroller. Each reg. provides lasting clean water to a child somewhere in the world.

5/4 6th Annual Homeless 2 Hopeful Superhero Run: Valley of the Rogue State Park. 1 mi. fun/run/walk; chip-timed 5K, 10K. Wear your fav superhero costume!

5/4 Medford Mud Factor: The Expo, Central Point. 5K. Kids 4-13 & families. Giant cargo climbs, epic mud crawls, water slides.

5/11 Sisters “Better Half” Marathon: Sisters. 1/4 marathon; half marathon relay. A benefit for Sisters HS swim team. “Like” the Sisters Half page on Facebook.

5/11 Tough as Nails Trail Run: Medford. 5K, 10 mi. Short course is family-friendly loo[ w/500+ ft. elev. Gain. 10 mi. crushed granite service road & singletrack 500+ ft. elev. gain. Prizes awarded to Top Male/Female finishers for each distance.

5/19 Bark in the Park: Alton Baker Park, Eugene. Join over 1,000 dogs and their people for a 10K, 5K, or 2K run/walk in the park. There's the run, the walk, canine activities, vendor booths, demonstrations, and more!

5/19 Grapes of Half: Noble Estate Winery to Sweet Cheeks Winery, Eugene. Half marathon. Complimentary bagel bar, bananas, oranges, chips, KIND snacks, banana, and other refreshments following the run.

5/25 Grants Pass Freedom Run: Josephine County Courthouse, Grants Pass. 5k chip-timed event. Awars to top 3: Men, Women, overall Youths. Water stations mid-race.


6/1 Bend Beer Chase: Bend. 50 miles relay race, consisting of 12 legs of varying distance (4-8miles per leg). The course starts from Bend, travels to Redmond and back to finish in Bend.

6/1 Klamath Hospice Remembrance Run: Klamath Falls. Family-centered event with: children’s dash, 1 mi. remembrance walk, 5K, 10K run/walk. Benefits Klamath Hospice patients & their families.

6/4 Taco Tuesday Twilight Trot: Eugene. 5k. An evening 5K followed by a fantastic post-race taco bar with meat and vegetarian options for all participants.

6/8 Jennifer’s Catching Slough Classic: & 1/2 Marathon run/walk. 5K, 10K. A fast, flat, and scenic out-and-back course starting at the intersection of Catching Slough Road and Coos River Hwy.

6/8 Lake of the Woods Run: Rainbow Bay Marina, Klamath Falls. 5K, 15K distances. 5K route is an out-and-back along paved roads. The 15K route loops around the lake on paved roads.

6/8 Mt. Ashland Hillclimb Run: Lithia Park, Ashland.13.3 mi. 13.3 mi., begins in downtown Ashland's beautiful Lithia Park (elev. 1,900) and climbs on tree-canopied dirt roads and trails to finish on the Mt. Ashland summit (7,533 ft.), for a total of over 5,600 ft. of climbing--that's over a vertical mile!

6/14-15 The Wild Rogue Relay: Applegate Lake to Brookings. A 218 mi. team running adventure through Southern Oregon's most beautiful terrain. That team is split into two vans each carrying six runners. Each runner will run three legs of the relay over approximately 30 hours, and each runner will run on average 18 mi.

6/22 Tour de Outback trail run: Lakeview. 14.8 mi. trail run. Run thru the Oregon Outback in the high desert, 5,000 ft. elev.

6/28-30 Pacific Crest Endrance Sports Festival: Sunriver. Challenge yourself with the 72.3 BEASTMAN, Olympic & Ultra-Sprint Distance Triathlon/Duathlon/AquaBike, Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K/10K, 28K & 50K Trail Run, Bike Tours & Kids Races.
