Northern California and Nevada


3/4 NorCal John Frank Memorial Run: Fleet Feet, Redding. Kids run, 1 mi. run, 3 mi., 10 mi. runs along the Sacramento River.

3/4 Sanborn Park Trail Challenge: Saratoga. 4.2 mi., 9 mi. 13.1 mi. This run is 95% single track, extremely mountainous, very technical, lushly wooded, mixed evergreen forest.

3/4 Hare n Hounds: Atascadero Lake Park. 5K & fun runs. Fundraise and run for your favorite charity!

3/4 Roseville Run for Freedom: Maidu Reg'l Park, Roseville. 5K trail run. Awards, raffles, t-shirts! Raise awareness of human trafficking.

3/11-12 Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrockin' Weekend: Raley Field, Sacramento. Race around the Capitol Mall! 3/11: 5K, 10K, Leprechaun Dash; 3/12: Half marathon.

3/18 Folsom South Side Trail Run: Folsom. 5K, 10K, 50K, 21 mi., 13.1 mi. 95% single track 5% dirt road. The course is primarily run on the South Side Trail. Singletrack, great running, some technical sections.

3/25 Golden Gate Headlands Marathon: Ft. Barry in Rodeo Valley, Marin County. Half & 10K. The course is a combination of single track hiking trails and fire roads.


4/1 Santa Teresa County Park - King Richard Annual run: Santa Teresa County Park. 5K, 10K, 13.1 mi. All courses are dirt road & some singletrack.

4/8 Mt. Tam Wild Boar Half Marathon: & 10K. Rock Springs. Experience rolling singletrack on Mt. Tam with views of the Pacific Ocean. Run along paved roadways and dirt singletrack trails.

4/29 Sierra Azul Trail Challenge: Los Gatos. 5K, 10K, 13.1 mi. 18 mi. 50K distances on trails or fireroad. The 50K is one of the toughest routes in the area.

4/29-30 SLO Marathon & Half: Downtown San Luis Obispo. 5K run/walk, 1 mi. children’s fun run, kids’ 1/4 mi. Get Off The Couch Sports Productions,

Southern California & Nevada


3/4 Animal Samaritan Superheroes: Rancho Mirage Community Park. 1K & 5K Run/walk. All 5K and 1K participants receive a short-sleeved shirt, super hero cape, mask, finisher medal, finisher photo and goody bag.

3/4 Diamond Valley Lake Marathon: Hemet. Race on dirt roads, except for asphalt on top of dams. A trail run with excellent footing. Mile markers every mile.

3/4 Mud Factor - Bakersfield: Hart Memorial Park. 5K obstacle run. Kids 4-13 & families run together.

3/4 San Diego Undy Run/Walk: Mission Bay Park. Support the colon cancer alliance.

3/11 Palm Springs Lions Club Shamrock 5K: Downtown Palm Springs. All finishers receive a finishers medal, tech t-shirt, & green shades! Stay for the post-run party!

3/11 Tip Top Run: Agua Hedionda Lagoon, Carlsbad. 5K, 10K trail run. Both routes feature portions on sidewalk and trail. Stroller friendly. All entries receive complimentary swag bag, t-shirt, lunch, and entry into our World Water Day festival. All entries receive complimentary swag bag, t-shirt, lunch, and entry into the Leprechaun Bash. Shuttle transportation provided back to starting point.

3/12 Village Runner St. Patrick's Day 5K: Redondo Beach. Chip timed, cash prizes to top 3 overall male & female runners; award medals. St. Patrick's Day Run t-shirt.

3/25 Valencia Trail Race: Valencia. Half marathon, 50K, 10K, Ultra marathon. Experience a trail course up to the peaks and along the ridgelines with panoramic views, then into the canyons.

3/26 Reaching for the Cure: Irvine Valley College. 5K, 10K, 1K kids run, half marathon. Expect a mostly trail run, finisher medals, kids zone, easy & FREE parking, beer garden. Run to support pediatric cancer research.

3/26 Spring Celebration: 10K, 10 mi. half marathon. No DNFs! A person, at anytime, can drop down to a shorter distance. A small, informal event.


4/1 Run for Ike 5K & Jr. Ike Dash: Palm Springs. A fast and flat out and back course in beautiful Palm Springs. It is runner, walker, stroller and doggie friendly, beginning and ending at the Palm Springs Police Department. The Run for Ike is commemorates K-9 Officer Ike who was killed in the line of duty in 2011.

4/9 Black Mountain XTERRA Run: Black Mountain Reg’l Park, San Diego. This course is great for beginners and advanced athletes with plenty of wide fire road trails and some singletrack, a couple of twists, turns and a small creek crossing.
