Northern California and Nevada


10/7 Run in the Forest: Pebble Beach. 5K, 10K. 5K run/walk winds through the roads of Pebble Beach near the Stevenson campus. 10K includes an oceanfront stretch along scenic 17-Mile Drive.

10/8 Great Tahoe Race: Truckee to Tahoe City. Point-to-point race from Truckee and Tahoe City. Run it or mountain bike it!

10/8 Healdsburg Half Marathon & 5K: Downtown Healdsburg. This loop course passes 100 year old mansions, miles of scenic vineyards and dozens of award winning wineries. Packet pick and prerace expo located at the famous Kendall Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens. A true wine country experience.

10/14 5K9: Hellyer County Park, San Jose. 5K & 1K. A dog-friendly run/walk. A fundraiser for The National Canine Cancer Foundation where funds are used in eliminating cancer as a major health problem in dogs through education, outreach and research.

10/15 San Bruno Mountain 5K & 12K: Brisbane. Challenging, scenic trail runs in a seldom-used gem of a park. Both races start at 9am near the main picnic area. Also, $6 parking fee, and all fees go towards supporting local parks.

10/15 Humboldt Redwoods Marathon: Humboldt Redwoods State Park. 5K, half marathon, full marathon. Run along the Avenue of the Giants under towering redwoods.

10/21 Oktoberfest 10K/5K/Kids Dash fun run: Campbell Community Center, Campbell. Run along the Los Gatos Creek Trail!

10/22 Surfer’s Path Hang 10/Hang 5: Capitola. courses start and finish in Capitola Village and travel onto the Surfer’s Path, passing many of the world’s most famous surf breaks. The courses enter beautiful Pleasure Point and continue along scenic East Cliff Drive to the 5 mile turn at 25th Ave. The 10 mile course continues on East Cliff to the turn around in picturesque Arana Gulch Park, overlooking the Santa Cruz Harbor.

10/22 The Running Dead V: Union City. 5K/10K. When the Zombie Apocalypse is here, there is only one thing you can do: RUN! Run for fun, or run for your life by entering the Zombie Challenge in which participants try to dodge Zombies along the trail. Come in costume!

10/29 Spirit Run: Carnegie Park, Livermore. 5K, 10K. Walk or run. Come in costume. the course goes through the scenic old downtown Livermore residential districts, south to the vineyards, and ending back at the park. Proceeds from this event benefit educational programs.


11/4 Dog Day at the Dam: El Sobrante. 4.8 mmi. Run/walk w/o dogs; 4.8 mi. run/walk w/dogs. 2.3 mi. walk with or without dogs. There will be music, food, and a special Doggie Basket raffle for all who register! ( $5 raffle tickets available for non-participants)

11/4 Roanne's Race: Robertson Park, Livermore. 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run Mile. Routes include views of the Livermore wine country & Arroyo Mocho Creek.

11/18 Mendocino Coast PAL Big River Run: Big River. 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon. 1/2 mi. kiddie race ages 4-10. The course winds along one of the most scenic rivers on the north coast.

11/18 Trail Run at Sly Park: Pollock Pines. 50K, 20 mi., 13.1 mi. 10 mi., 10K, 5K. Course is primarily single track run in beautiful Pollock Pines. Great running, some technical sections roots, rocks, very challenging course, no big climbs or long downhills.

11/23 The Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble: San Pablo Dam Reservoir. 5K run/walk; 10K run. Medals awarded to top 3 finishers in each of 5 year age groups. Come in costume for the Best Dressed Turkey award!

11/23 Almaden Valley’s Run Turkey Run: Leland High School. 5K/10K. Both courses are run on level terrain on the paved trails along the Alamitos Creek and the Open Space area.

11/23 Nitro Turkey Trot: Point Pinole, San Pablo. 5K, 10K, & Little Turkeys race. Children (10 and under) attending with 5K/10K runners will receive free entry into Little Turkeys and receive special medals and a goodie bag.

Southern California & Nevada


10/14 Race for the Rescues: Los Angeles. 5k, 10k, 1k dog walk and kids' fun run! Run, walk, shop, or adopt to save animal’s lives!

10/14 Rocky Peak Ultra Trail Race: Corriganville Park, Simi Valley. 30K, 50K ultra run. Run through the mountains and canyons of Rocky Peak, famous as a movie ranch and outdoor location shooting for movies.

10/15 Spacerock Half Marathon: Vasquez Rocks Nat’l Park. Half, 10K, 5K trail runs. Run in Alien Lands, experience the black hole and experience challenging trails!


11/5 Dinosaur Dash: Tustin. 5K, 10K, 1 mi. fun run & 50K bike tour. A fundraiser for the non-profit Tustin Public Schools Foundation and local public schools.

11/12 Bakersfield Marathon & Half: Cal State campus. USATF-certified full marathon, half marathon, 2-person half marathon relay, and 5K. Participants will run through many iconic neighborhoods on their way to a Boston-qualifying finish.

11/18 Lexus LaceUp Palos Verdes Half Marathon: Pelican Cove Park, Rancho Palos Verdes. Half, 10K, 5K. Participants start and finish above the scenic Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. The course flows along scenic coastal cliffs with views of Catalina Island.

11/18 San Dimas Turkey Trot: 5K, 10K, kid’s run. Run a mixture of dirt and paved trails. Feel like a pilgrim running across a stream and through the woods with great mountain and lake views.

11/24 Feelin’ Stuffed: Long Beach. 10K, 5K, half marathon, marathon. The course follows part of the Long Beach Marathon course along the scenic beach path with ocean breezes and beautiful views.

11/24 Huntington Beach Turkey Trot: Bolsa Chica Beach Path. 5K, 10K, 15K, half marathon. This is a fun run that is clock timed (not chip timed). Half Marathon - 3 out-and-back loops of 4.36 mi. 5K, 1 out-and-back loop. 10K 2 out-and-back loop. 15K 3 out-and-back loops.



10/21 Spud Run: Downtown Merrill. 5mi. run. A part of the Klamath Basin Potato Festival!

10/21 Stagecoach Run: Jacksonville. 5K/10K. Experience fall colors, views of Roxy Ann Peak, Mount McLoughlin, the Table Rocks and the Rogue Valley. Race time temperatures usually vary between 30 and 50 degrees and be prepared for sun, rain, fog and always a great time.

10/28 Grants Pass Half Marathon: Reinhart Park. Half, 10K, 5K, kids’ costume run. Water stations at 3mi, 6mi, 8mi and 11mi. Chip timing. Top overall female & male in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K runs as well as three deep in age groups. All kids costume run participants will receive a pair of socks, medal and goodie bag.


11/12 Pioneer Road Run: Phoenix High School, Phoenix. 5K & 9 mi. Ribbons to top 3 finishers in all categories. Lance Tooke Memorial trophies presented to top male and female High School 5K winners.

11/23 Moore Park Turkey Trot: Klamath. 5K run/walk. Entry fee is an unwrapped childrens’ toy or a cash donation to be given to the food bank.

11/23 Southern Oregon Turkey Trot: Jackson County Expo, Medford. 2 mi. run/walk, 8 mi. out-and-back run on the Bear Creek Greenway. Bring cans of food with your to donate to support Access Inc. food drive.
