3/9 Calero Trail Run: Calero County Park, San Jose. 5K, 10K, half marathon, 25K, 50K. Singletrack, hills, and dirt. It is a challenging, fantastic trainer for Western States that includes oak trees, exposure, good heat training, and panoramic vistas.

3/16 Napa Valley Trail Marathon: 1/2 marathon & 10K. Bothe-Napa State Park, Calistoga. Challenge yourself on the lush singletrack within the park. A challenging course with the hills, streams and rocks.

3/16-17 Shamrock’n Half: Raley Field, Sacramento. 5K, 10K, & Leprechaun Dash on Saturday, half marathon, Sunday.

3/30 Golden Gate Headlands Marathon: 1/2 marathon & 10K. Golden Gate Nat’l Recreation Area, Sausalito. start and finish at the historic parade ground at Ft. Barry, Rodeo Valley. Along this scenic trail run you'll soak in panoramic vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific shoreline peppered with vibrant wildflowers.


4/6 49er Bypass Run: Firehouse, Sutter Creek. 5K, 10K events for youths and adults. or email

4/7 Credit Union Sactown Run: Sacramento. 5K, 10 mi., Children's Miracle Mile. A flat, fast course that starts & finishes at the state capitol.

4/7 Mighty Dog Run: for dogs and their owners. Granite Bay, Folsom. 5K, 10K. 5K course has one aid station at the half way point for walkers & their dogs. Add'l dogs can be signed up to accompany the walker and dog #1 for a fee of $10 per dog. Each additional dog receive a dog tag and Doggie-goody bag. The 10K course will be two laps of the 5K course.

4/13 Diablo Trails Challenge: Walnut Creek. 5K, 10K, half marathon. All dirt courses, racers head out from Castle Rock Park into Mount Diablo State Park -- all the way to the summit for the 50K. A fundraiser for Save Mount Diablo.

4/13 Mt.Tam Wild Boar Half Marathon: Mill Valley. 10K, 13.1 mi. rolling singletrack on Mt. Tam with views of the Pacific Ocean. Runners follow a combination of paved roadways and dirt singletrack trails with views of Bolinas Lagoon, the Pacific Ocean and Marin County watershed.

4/13 Placerville Path Run: 5K, 10K, 15K, half marathon. A run on the El Dorado Trail in beautiful historic Placerville, surrounded with beautiful oak trees, rolling hills, and incredible views.

4/20 Antioch Rotary Club Bunny Hop 5K: Antioch City Marina. Free kids under 6 fun dash.

4/27 Sierra Azul Trail Challenge: Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, San Jose. Marathon, half, 5K, 10K. Run in the shadow of Mt. Umunhum with the deer and a few of your favorite running pals.

4/27 Romancing the Island: Angel Island. Single loop 10K & double loop half marathon along a hilly trail circumnavigating Angel Island. Limited entry, so get your's in early!

4/27 Sierra Azul Trail Challenge: Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, San Jose. 5K, 10K, 13.1 mi., 18 mi., 26.2 mi. Run in the shadow of Mt. Umunhum with the deer and a few of your favorite running pals.

Southern California & Nevada


3/2 DairyAire 5K/10K: Ayala Park, Chino. The last leg of the Chino Triple Crown. Flat, fast course around the park. Reg. includes t-shirt & finisher medal for all participants. All proceeds to benefit Chino Youth Museum.

3/2 Diamond Valley Lake Marathon: Hemet. Marathon, half marathon, trail, 5K, 1 mi., kids run. All races are on dirt roads, except for asphalt across the dams. This event raises funds for Habitat for Humanity, San Jacinto affiliate.

3/16 Tip Top Run Leprechaun Dash & Bash: Agua Hedionda Discovery Ctr, Carlsbad. Two unique courses have one-of-a-kind views of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon and Pacific Ocean. This is a fun run/walk.

3/16 Ramblas Run: San Juan Capistrano. 5K, 10K, half marathon & 5K youth division trail race in the San Juan Hills.

3/23 Inflatable Run & Festival Los Angeles: Whittier Narrows Recreation Area. Obstacle, 5K, 1 mi. & kids run. Run/walk w/kid-friendly inflatable obstacles every 500 ft. The biggest inflatable festival in the U.S.


4/6 CASA Superhero Run-Walk: & Festival. The Park at Riverwalk, Bakersfield. 2K, 5K run/walk, 10K run/walk. Support abused children in foster care. The event features masked and caped runners, a superhero costume contest, villains to chase, photo opps, finisher medals, family-friendly activities & entertainment.

4/6 Dolphin Dash: Long Beach. 13.1M, 15K, 10K, 5K run. Clock-timed run on an open course. Event is capped at 100 participants.

4/13 Chardonnay Run Santa Barbara: Leadbetter Beach. 5K & 10 mi. along the Santa Barbara waterfront. All participants get a tech t-shirt, post-race meal, and finishers receive a finisher's medal.

4/13 Orange County Superhero 5K: Mason Reg'l Park, Irvine. family-fun event with a 5K Run/Walk, Health & Safety Expo, Food & Entertainment, and fund-raising opportunity to help support programs and direct services at the Crime Survivors Resource Center.

4/13 Rock it in El Moro Canyon: Laguna Beach. 5K, 10 mi. Truly awesome ocean views, tough climbs, rolling hills, and even a little singletrack! To reduce trash on the trails, no cups will be provided & all participants carry their own water bottle, hyrdapouch, or hydration pack.



3/9 Run of Two Cities: Mingus Park, Coos Bay. 5K run/walk, 10K run. Hilly and challenging course that hits both Coos Bay and North Bend. Note that while the course is designed to minimize street crossings, there are a few and the course is open to traffic.


4/6 Salmon Creek Run: Powers. 5K, 10K. A rolling and scenic course with paved and gravel roads through the lovely Powers Community. Bring a picnic and spend the day touring the areas’ beautiful waterfalls after the race.

4/20 Bend Half Marathon: West Bend. Marathon, half, 10K, 5K distances. Cruise around neighborhood parks, thru ponderosa pine forests, along the mighty Deschutes River, and finish in a beautiful iconic Bend location to a hoppin' afterparty!

4/27 Roseburg to Coos Bay Relay: Roseburg & Coos Bay. 67 mi., 5 person running team or 23 mi., 4 person walking team. Each team will be given maps and is responsible for directing their own runners. No course markings along the way. Bring plenty of water, food, and enthusiasm.
